The Grove
A family portrait membership for those who want more from their photos — full galleries, real value, no re-booking.
Every Grove membership includes the exact same full edited gallery — no image limit — as booking a session à la carte. The only difference is you're never doing it one photo shoot at a time again.
I know times are tough for a lot of families right now — it feels like everything costs more than it did a year ago. But your family photos shouldn't end up on the back burner because of it. These years move fast, and the pictures we make now are the ones you'll lean on when the kids are grown. The Grove exists so that a tight month never has to mean skipping the season — real, full galleries at one steady monthly price you can plan around.

Questions about the Grove.
How does the membership actually work?
You choose a tier — Sapling, Birch, or Heartwood — and pay monthly. Your rate is locked for your full membership term, and you book your included sessions whenever the seasons feel right. No re-booking paperwork, no à la carte pricing each time.
Do I really get the full gallery every time?
Yes. Every Grove session includes the exact same full edited gallery — no image limit — that you'd receive booking that session à la carte. The membership changes how you pay, never what you receive.
Can I use my sessions for different purposes?
Absolutely. One year might be fall family photos and holiday cards; another might be a maternity session and a first-birthday shoot. Birch and Heartwood members can split their sessions across whatever milestones matter that year.
What happens if I don't use all my sessions?
With Heartwood's four sessions a year and Birch's two, most families use them all — but sessions are there when you need them, not a countdown. Priority scheduling for Birch and Heartwood members helps you land the dates you actually want.
Is there a commitment or can I cancel?
Founding memberships run on a term with pricing locked for its full length — that's what keeps the monthly rate this low. If your circumstances change, reach out and options can be talked through; the studio would rather keep your family in the Grove than lock you into something that doesn't fit.
Why is enrollment limited to 45 families?
Because members get priority scheduling ahead of à la carte bookings, the studio can only hold so many dates. Capping the Grove at 45 founding families keeps that promise real — and pricing stays locked for your full term.
Can I pay for a membership with a payment plan?
The monthly price is already the payment plan — it's spread across the year instead of paid per session. Klarna, Sezzle, Affirm, and in-house payment plans are also available for anything extra, like albums and prints.
