Black Forest Photography is a small, considered studio. Each project is approached slowly — from the first note to the final gallery — with a preference for natural light, soft shadow, and moments that feel true.
A Note
I photograph the way I like to be photographed — softly, patiently, and with room to breathe. My work leans dark and moody, but it's built on warmth: the way someone looks at their person, the way a child folds into a parent, the last of the light before it goes.

Who will actually photograph my session?
Keilynn White, every time. Black Forest Photography is a one-photographer studio — the person you email is the person behind the camera on your wedding day, in your living room with your newborn, and in the meadow with your seniors.
Why do you call it true-color photography?
Because the photos are edited to look the way the day actually felt — real skin tones, real light, real color. Nothing is pushed into a trendy wash that will look dated in five years; the goal is galleries that still feel honest decades from now.
Do you travel outside Spokane?
Happily. Sessions anywhere in the Inland Northwest — Spokane Valley, Liberty Lake, Coeur d'Alene, the Palouse — are treated as local. Weddings and sessions farther out are welcome too; just mention where you're headed in your inquiry.
What is it like to work with you?
Unhurried. Sessions start with a conversation, not a pose list, and direction is gentle — most people say it felt less like a photo shoot and more like a walk with someone who happens to be taking pictures. Galleries arrive ready to print, share, and keep.
How do I book a date?
The fastest way is the inquiry form on the Inquire page or a scheduled consultation. Once your date is confirmed, everything else — timeline help, location ideas, what to wear — is handled with you before the session ever starts.
